In 1982, the Bridge of Lions was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Bay South Garden, a section of the waterfront gardens in the new Downtown @ Marina Bay, will open on June 29. The famous Lions Bridge, a dam that provides a breathtaking view of the James River, remains a scenic highlight for visitors.
